So about a week ago, I had a crafty baker streak run through me. It was quite the experience, seeing as though I made so little and it took SOOOO long. I made Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle pies and Hello Kitty cake pops. The turtle pies were a recreation of the real ones that were released in the early 90's by Hostess during the TMNT craze. I learned how to fry things that day, and how to make pudding from scratch. OH, and that glaze is a pain in my butt. The Hello Kitty pops (courtesy of Bakerella) were another experience. A messy expensive experience, although not as messy as the TMNT pies. My edible pen died, rather quickly...and I was only able to put Hello Kitty faces on a few of the pops.

Those pops are so cute. I'm sorry you ran out of edible pen. The green pies are crazy wild fun! I would've made the biggest mess.
