*sigh* well I found my camera. Did I already say that?...anyway...THis weekend I took a trip to the Boston Vegetarian Society Festival in Boston. It was....AWESOME. I brought my camera, but was waaayy too caught up in the free samples and exhibits to actually use the camera. All the things I tried! Some of it was definitely questionable...but the majority of it was delish. My favorite was the seitan jerky I tried, I bought one...and Justin (non-veg) bought FIVE. I plan on purchasing a whole bunch online in the near future. The highlight of my day though...was meeting the bestest veg cookbook author..EVER. Isa Chandra Moskowitz! She signed her new vegan cupcake cookbook (Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World) for me...while I stood there in awe. Can you believe I didn't even take a picture? I was too dumbfounded.

When I got home I had the biggest urge to cook up something..from Vegan with a Vengeance of course. I ended up making some Samosa's and a coconut-mint chutney. Yum. I froze a bunch of them so I'd have some for lunch.

I've decided on what I'll be doing for Christmas presents. I made this necklace about a few weeks ago, the center of the necklace is a shell leaf. Everytime I wear it, people at work always poke at it and comment. I figure I'll make a few shell necklaces for friends and aunts.
