In the mail today I received my Burpee and The Cooks garden magazines. I also noticed that Target has already put out their gardening supplies. As excited as I get about the warmer weather, I still understand that I still have 2 1/2 months. Why must they tease me?! Anyway, I haven't put much thought to what I'm going to grow this year. I was thinking about making a 'bunny bucket' comprised of parsley, lettuce, kale, and other bunny delicacies. Flowers are looking good to me too - usually I stick to some vegetables and my strawberries. I would love to put a mix of wild flower seeds across the street where it's drab. The neighbors won't mind, who would mind purty flowers? I can't totally ditch my veggies though - can't live without those summer tomatoes! Pink Brandywine tomatoes are absolutely delicious and might be found in my garden this year!

Easy flowers, sunflowers (great food for birds or bunnies), mallow, cosmos, English marigold, forgetmenot. Oh and how could I forget, POPPIES!!

I definitely need to go seed shopping - which I hate. I would love to get some cuttings, but there aren't many people growing flowers around me :P
