Snow Tubing

Well, for the first time EVER I went snow tubing...at an actual park. It was so much fun! I went with my boyfriend and his friend and girlfriend. The two boys bailed out quite early, leave me and my buddy to have all the fun. Oh my gosh, you would go so fast! The day had been kind of warm so the snow was a little melted, which left us to have quite icy hills as the night went on. The first time we went down, we decided we were going to trudge up the giant hill instead of taking the lift. Well, normally it would've been just fine for me to do that. However, with this crazy cold air - my lungs felt like they were covered in icicles. Rough first trip up - let me tell you! The lift was fun too, it was kind of relaxing making your way up the big hill. The way to stop was quite interesting. At the bottom of the hill you have someone screaming "DIG YOUR HEELS IN!!!", which was pretty hard to do when it was icy and you were going really fast - my friend almost lost her boots! As a matter of fact, one couple that went down together neglected to put their heels down and scaled the snowbank and fence meant to stop people, and ended up taking down a little kid. He was fine. The couple however, felt like a couple of dopes.

During the summer I'm definitely going back! They have summer sliding and an 'outdoor gravity orb' which is basically a huge inflatable ball that you roll down the hill in. The OGO ride is a bit pricey at $20 for one ride. Ouch.



After we were completely numb and sled-out, we went to a cute restaurant called the Old Salt in Hampton, NH. It was pretty good, anything at the point might of been good though - I was starving.
