Easter is a sad time for bunnies and rescues alike. There are far too many undereducated people purchasing rabbits from pet stores for their children at easter time. Unfortunately, unlike a stuffed animal this little fuzzball grows and turns into a big fuzzball and the kids lose interest. And there lies the rabbit, bored in it's itty bitty cage, in a shelter, or worse let loose outdoors to fend for itself.
Sad. Sad. Sad.
My point is: Don't buy a rabbit for your child for easter. If you're still interested in having a rabbit as a pet, educate yourself FIRST, then consider adoption!
