My Weekend

My laptop's hard drive couldn't be 'found' on Wednesday.  I had made an appointment at the genius bar for 1:00 on Friday. So Friday came, and I took the poor little guy to get diagnosed.  Apparently my hard drive had failed, boo!  Fortunately, I still had my protection plan until August and I was able to have my computer fixed for the bubble!  AND, because they no longer make the hard drive I had, they upgraded it to a 60GB and installed the updates OS for me.  I should break my computers more often ;)  I now have my laptop back ( I picked it up Friday night) and it's working wonderfully, thank goodness.

This weekend (Saturday) I went candle pin bowling for the first time. It was a lot of fun!  I generally stink when it comes to bowling, but I did alright on the second string.  

Before Saturday however, I had never heard of candlepin bowling so I did so research on it.  It was created in Worcester, MA in 1880. Actually we were pretty close to Worcester, we went to Mohegan Bowl-A-Drome in Webster.  It was definitely old school, it didn't even have electronic scoring, it was a do-it-yourself type of place!  The shoes were nicer there as well. I still want to buy my own shoes though, not only will they be more sanitary, but they'll be prettier :D 

Sunday was boring.  I hopped around a bit, and used one of my gift certificates for Victoria's Secret on some new undies, flip flops, and sugar scrub and shave stuff.  I seem to really like their PINK line, it's just too expensive.  I could spend forever looking at all the cute and fuzzy sweatshirts!
