Alright, so every now and then I get a second wind around 11:00 at night. Usually this results in me doing some serious cleaning...or baking. This cake is a result of this. Almond Starlight cake with pink vanilla frosting. Crazy doodling was involved too. I was quite happy with it, it came out pretty moist and I actually made the frosting myself this time. I'm not very good at making frosting, I usually beg my mother to make it for me. The picture on the left is my little cake being packed up and brought over to a friend, I thought the candied cherries made it ultra cute :)
