The lady I had gotten it from called it her Charlie Brown table, I think I'll call it that too. As I brought it in my mother was on the phone with her friend and said "Oh my god, she's brought in a Jetson's table" What is with all the names?
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. I would like to paint it, and was thinking an robins egg blue type color. I'm going to use it for a bedside table, it's a little low for my bed, but I can make it work. Hopefully it'll go with my orange bookcase and light yellow walls. My room is a total hodge podge anyway.
Along with my table, I had gotten some cute little numbers at Salvation Army. I bought this BRAND NEW shirt from Tweeds. 100% linen and such a pretty blue color with RUFFLES! I had never heard of Tweeds before, apparently the company is online only - and too expensive. I had also found this shirt by Columbia, funny thing is I had almost bought it at REI a couple of years ago. Good thing I didn't. Oh, and black Banana Republic capri's - today was my day. I picked up 2 little blankies for the bunnies too - all of this lovely stuff for $15.

So funny, what your mom said. I hope you post when you paint it. Super cook table, very Jetson actually. Great finds at the thrift store! Yay!
Who doesn’t like free stuff? My friend threw out her entire living room directly in the dumpster!!! It was all nice not more than three year old IKEA stuff. Crazy… but I’m sure she made someone very happy. I found my garden chairs in a dumpster; just painted them and they were like new.
Blue sounds good to paint you Charlie Brown table blue. Even if you’ll put it among yellow and orange stuff, just add something purple and red and you’re set :p
