Tough Getting Old

This post is just about a thought I had.

I work in a nursing home, and hear on a daily basis the gripes of the elderly. Completely understandable in my opinion. However, I also tend to hear "It's tough to be my age, so don't get old whatever you do". I usually reply with "well, I'll try...but no promises." Without fail I heard it again today, and thought about it a bit more after I stated my usual response. What else is there, really? If I don't get old that means I'm dead. I'm not quite sure that that is any better.

Yea.

That's all.

I know, people with their time worn cliche sayings, what can you do. Dead is not better.
It is kind of sad when they say the don't get old thing though.
You must get sad a lot working there?
Thanks for blog comment. You always make me smile. The tablet I have is by the same people who make the bamboo. It's basically the same. Just a new jazzed up version. It's really fun. And you could have a blast playing with Art Rage with it. You can use it like a mouse, but I prefer my mouse for regular surfing. What could you use it for in school? Do you have to draw things?
